All of Lyons' chandeliers and lighting are designed and created by hand in her Rochester, NY studio. These custom works are available directly through the studio in a variety of finishes and colors.
“I love the idea of creating beautiful sculptural objects that have purpose in peoples’ spaces. Chandeliers that glow and cast beautiful light throughout a space are inspired by forms found in nature, and by the specific formal qualities of the materials, glass and steel. Geometric and organic structures in steel -- are juxtaposed with the organic shapes made of hand blown and sculpted glass. The inherent material qualities are central to all of my sculptural and functional work.
In this time of paring down and living a more minimal existence, it is interesting to create something that is truly beautiful and useful at the same time.”
